The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved an increase in the amount of humanitarian aid to the countries of Africa and Asia and changed the terms of supplies. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the resolution of the CMU No. 1313 "On the provision of humanitarian aid to the countries of Africa and Asia" dated 12.24.22, writes agronews.ua.
As noted by Taras Melnychuk, the permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the volume of purchases of wheat and/or corn grain for starving countries in Africa and Asia has been increased by 21 thousand metric tons. This will make it possible to better regulate the purchase of grain products for Sudan, Yemen, Kenya and Nigeria.
In addition, the terms of delivery have been changed from CIF to FOB, which will also help to regulate the issue of delivery and payment for the transportation of humanitarian aid goods to these countries.
