The John Deere 6000 series introduced in the fall of 1992 was from the 90s
the most significant tractor innovations. The tractors had a modular design
completely new and was based on a separate steel frame that functioned as a component
as a mounting base. In terms of technology, perhaps the most significant innovation was hydraulic
multi-plate clutch (PermaClutch II) as driving clutch. In the two smallest
the model had two discs, the others three. The TechCenter cockpit was
significantly more spacious and developed than before. The noise level was lowered
to a level of 75 dB. The cockpit could be tilted to the side.
The engine was a new 4.5 liter in most models. Only 6200 in Finland
was equipped with a 3.9-liter, 6300 were produced with both
with engines. Power up
four-cylinders had 75-100 hp. The basic gearbox was SynchroPlus, where
there were gears at 40 km/h in the 18+6 models. Rear-wheel drive models had a speed of 30 km/h
and gears 15+5. However, it was significantly more developed

the version had 24+16 gears. PowrQuad models had hydraulic
turn signal. The basic gearboxes, which were not imported to Finland, had speeds
12+4 and 16+12. For 1995, the fastest PowrQuad transmissions
basic speeds were released for use, so there were 24+24 gears
(elsewhere also 16+16, 20+20).
All models had an electric lifting device. The lift was from the model
depending on 3700-5500 kg. The hydraulic system was like JD
closed and the palpation took place through the pull arms. Rolling in four-wheel drive
the turning angle was 52 degrees.
