Assignment of air filter:
The main task of the air filter is to clean the air coming into the engine, from abrasive particles of dust and other harmful impurities, which contributes to an increase in the service life of the engine. The air filter also reduces noise and improves the uniformity of the air flow, reduces the risk of water ingress into the engine.
 
The structure of the air filter:
The air filter consists of a cylindrical body, which is made of a mesh material. On both sides the body is closed by two covers, which are connected by jumpers. As a filter element, filter paper is used, from the damage protected by the housing. Sealing of the filter element in the body is ensured by sealing gaskets placed on the covers.
 
The principle of the air filter:
During engine operation, the airflow that is sucked from the atmosphere enters the air filter. Passing through the filter, the air is cleaned of fine dust particles that remain on the filter element and flow through the air collectors into the combustion chamber of the engine's fuel to form a combustible mixture.
