Purpose of the air filter:
The main task of the air filter is to clean the air entering the engine from abrasive particles of dust and other harmful impurities, which helps to increase the life of the engine. The air filter also reduces noise and increases the uniformity of air flow, reduces the risk of water entering the engine.
 
Air Filter Structure:
The air filter consists of a cylindrical body, which is made of mesh material. On both sides of the case is closed by two covers, which are interconnected by jumpers. As a filter element, filter paper is used, protected from damage by the housing. The sealing of the filter element in the housing is provided by gaskets located on the covers.
 
The principle of operation of the air filter:
During engine operation, a stream of air that is drawn in from the atmosphere enters the air filter. After passing through the filter, the air is cleaned of small particles of dust that remain on the filter element and enters through the air collectors into the combustion chamber of the engine fuel to form a combustible mixture.
